I can't tell you how happy I am that the holidays are just around the corner. I love nothing more than this time of year and I am eager to trim the tree, hang our collection of paper snowflakes and sip spiced (spiked) cider while Christmas carols play.

It's been a tough year, and I've missed the blog so much - I hope there are some of you out there who will still read a random post here and there. I'm also hoping that 2013 will see a return of the blog, but for now, let's close out the year strong with my perennial favorite: the gift guides.

To gear up for this year, I thought I'd re-run the last two... not everything featured on them is still available, but maybe they'll stir up some inspiration.
