Here are a few of our favorite shots from Istanbul and Cappadocia - it feels as if the trip was yesterday and three years ago at the same time. Our experiences on this trip to Turkey were the best yet as we dug deeper into all that Istanbul had to offer and explored Goreme and the surrounding region for the first time.
This is a trip that should be on everyone's bucket list. I can't say enough about the food, the culture and the wonderful people we have met in this country.
It has been so sad watching the news over the last week and tracking everything that is happening with the protests. Turkey and especially Istanbul will always hold a special place in my heart and my thoughts are with our friends there.
