Looking forward to an impromptu trip to New York with a few of my lady friends this weekend. An east/west village pub crawl, brunch and plenty of shopping are all in the plans, and I can't wait!
Jambalaya was a giant success yesterday - so if you've been contemplating trying the recipe yourself, go for it! I made only very slight modifications, including adding real hatch green chile and a pound of texas brown shrimp that were only so-so. The best part of dinner was the massive crowd gathered to eat and enjoy - maybe our biggest yet! The search for a larger expandable dining room table needs to begin in earnest - we're out of room!
So, what do you all have planned for this mid-march weekend? I know those of us on the east coast are wishing for even warmer weather - while it sounds like Denver will be basking in sunshine!
